Autumn transit

October is my favorite time of year because the cool, crisp weather reinvigorates in a multitude of ways. I find myself constantly drawn towards the extraordinarily deep blue of the sky that seems so vividly crystal clear. Nature seems somehow more enhanced with the depth of colors richer, sharper, as if there is a quickening occurring.
Fall is a season when we are frequently stopped dead in our tracks while going about our ordinary life, to simply stop, become still and present to the beauty surrounding and unfolding before us.
As the transition continues this month, it is wise to emulate the changing trees, grounded into the center of the earth and able to gently shift without being knocked off our base!
The greatest transitions of my adult life have all taken place in October; divorce, graduating my Masters, moving (multiple times), new work places, falling in love. Some of those transitions have been positive, even the tough ones, some have not. Coincidence? Perhaps, if I believed in it…personally I believe the universe knows something I just haven’t heard yet.
All these miles being crossed off on the way to the next adventure bring to light these thoughts. Thanks for joining me on my journey and showing up for me when I need you. As always my door is always open, and bring your sunscreen.
